Who we are
Autom8 Media is a small business run by Parker Edwards and Ben Edwards in Central Oregon. This policy covers autom8media.ai. Questions or requests go to parker@autom8media.ai.
The short version
- This site has no accounts. The only thing you can type into it is an optional question for our AI assistant.
- We only use analytics if you allow it.
- We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Analytics, only with your permission
If you choose "Allow analytics", we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use this page: which sections are viewed, which booking buttons are clicked, the type of device and browser, roughly where visits come from (city or region level), and how people found the site. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to do this. Google says Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
We have turned off Google's advertising features and Google signals. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you choose "No thanks", Google Analytics does not load at all. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as "No thanks".
AI assistant
The "Anything else?" box in our FAQ is an AI assistant, not a person. It answers only from information Autom8 has reviewed and can be wrong. Please don't type personal details into it.
When you ask a question, it is sent to our server and then to Google's Gemini API, a paid Google service, to write the answer. Under Google's terms for paid services, Google doesn't use your question or the answer to improve its products. Google keeps them for a limited time only to detect abuse and meet legal requirements. We don't store your question or the answer. To prevent abuse, we keep short-lived counters (how many questions came from your IP address, hashed with a daily salt so the address itself is not stored) for up to about a day, in a database run by Upstash. Our server logs record only whether a request succeeded and how long it took, never what you asked.
Booking a call
Our "Book a discovery call" buttons open Cal.com, a separate scheduling service. The details you enter there, such as your name, email and notes, go to Cal.com and to us so we can hold the call. Cal.com handles that information under its own privacy policy.
If you email us, we keep the message and your address in our email account so we can reply and follow up on your request. We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps short-lived technical logs (such as request time and status) to run and secure the service. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Your choices
- Change your analytics choice at any time:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing parker@autom8media.ai. We'll reply within 45 days.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
